The project consisted in analyzing grain supply chains in Ukraine as part of the World Bank's advisory assistance to the Government of Ukraine on optimization of agro-logistics in Ukraine.
The research was carried out in accordance with the Supply Chain Analysis (SCA) methodology. Within the project, about 40 interviews were conducted with various participants of the supply chain. As a result, the main schemes for exporting agricultural products from the field to the ship's hold were identified, the narrowest logistics places were identified, and the priority directions for the development of logistics schemes were identified, and also amount of necessary investment was evaluated.
